CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES: Check-in time is after 3 PM. Check-out time is 10 AM.

1. All children have to be supervised when outside. NO children are allowed to be in the pool area (inside the chain link fence) without an adult! No exceptions! We recommend that children wear flotation devices. That is not a requirement, your discretion! We at SHADRACK RESORT are not responsible for accidents! No lifeguard on duty!

2. Fires are allowed in the fire pits only! Most cabins have fire pits and you are required to be present when there are hot coals in the fire pit. Please extinguish all fires when left unattended! Fire wood is located in close proximity to all fire pits, or by the pavilion in the common area. You are more then welcome to grab some firewood and take back to your private fire pit.

3. No fireworks are permitted on Shadrack Resort property! No exceptions! Not even the 4th of July!

4. We welcome pets at Shadrack Resort Cape Fair, but we do require them to be on a leash at all times when outside the cabins. Absolutely NO pets in the pool area! Ever! If your pet goes potty, please pick it up and dispose of it in the proper manner. Our mowers will appreciate it!

5. Pool rules: Inside the chain link fence is considered the pool area.

● Absolutely NO GLASS IN THE POOL AREA! THIS MEAN NONE!

● SHADRACK RESORT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS!

● NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY!

● No diving!

● All children must be accompanied at all times while in the pool area!

● NO pets in the pool area!

● The towels in your room are not to be brought to the pool or the lake for that matter.

● Pool hours are 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.

● Anything that is left in the pool area could be thrown away.

● The pool area is a shared space and we all have to play together.

6. Quiet time is from 11 p.m. till 7 a.m. Quiet time does not mean lights out. You can still be outside, by a fire, or just chilling, but no loud noise. First complaint, you will be verbally warned. Second complaint, you will be asked to leave! No exceptions! We want to respect everyone's peace and quiet. 

7. Parking can be tight, please be courteous of other guests. Please do not block any roadways, driveways, or parking spots other then your own.

8. SMOKING is permitted at Shadrack Resort, but only outside. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING INSIDE ANY CABIN! If smoking is detected inside a cabin, there will be an additional $250 smoking fee accrued! No exceptions! Please extinguish and dispose of cigarette butts properly. At the front of every cabin, there is a gray butt bucket. Please be courteous of other guests.

9. The common area is exactly as it sounds. Everyone is allowed to join the fun. From cornhole to horseshoes, we strive to make everyone feel welcome at Shadrack Resort. If guest are enjoying a private time at their private fire pit, we ask that you respect them. Please put Cornhole bags and shuffleboard stuff back in the palvillin. 

10. The trash dumpster is located at the bottom of the property along Shadrack road by cabin 8. Please discard all trash whenever it gets full in the dumpster. Please make sure that the lids are closed as the birds like to make a mess out of the trash. Thank you!

11. If your cabin has a sleeper sofa that was used, we ask that you please remove the sheet off the mattress before you fold it up before you depart.

12. We are a family owned resort and we like to mingle with our guests. But we will also respect your privacy. If you see us around the property and want to chat, just say “Hi!” and we’ll gladly stop and chat! As a family owned resort, we have kids as well. Our kids like to play with other kids. They are always looking to make new friends!

13. WiFi is available throughout the whole property. Please feel free to use it. The network name and password is available in the guest book. Subject to change, so if you are a return customer, you might have to update it. And we appreciate you, of course!

14. Blankets, pillows, towels, and other things that are located inside the cabins, should NOT be brought outside. There are chairs located out front/ back of your cabin and in the common area. If you take a chair from your cabin to the common area or another cabin, we ask that you return it to its proper location. And vice-versa.

15. In the back/front of this guest book there are comment card, feel free to leave us a comment to let us know how you liked your stay at SHADRACK RESORT CAPE FAIR!! Let us know how we can make your future stays unforgettable!

16. In the guest book there are post cards, you are more than welcome to take some with you to fill out and send or fill some out and we will place postage and mail them for you. Just leave them in the cabin and our cleaning staff will gather them and give them to us. Or you can get a hold of the office and drop them off. We feel that the day of the post cards have passed, and we at Shadrack Resort want to bring them back!

18. We do require a 25% plus tax non-refundable deposit. We recommend, if you have to cancel we ask you to do it ASAP. Any cancellations less than 24 hours prior to reservation are subject to pay the full amount for reservation.
